Since February 2022, with the support of our international partners from the UK, South Africa, Norway, Canada, and Romania, we have been delivering humanitarian aid to Reni, Ukraine—the last town on the Danube River, bordering Romania and Moldova. Early on, we realized it wasn’t cost-effective to send food and goods directly from the UK, as we lacked the necessary logistical infrastructure. Spending £3,000 to send goods worth the same amount simply wasn’t practical.
Instead, we partnered with trusted organizations in Romania, who purchase food locally and transport it across the border into Ukraine. Working together, we coordinated monthly food deliveries during the early days of the war. However, as media attention has shifted to other issues, our ability to provide aid has diminished, with deliveries now reduced to bi-monthly or less.
Unfortunately, the war rages on, and the need for support is as urgent as ever. With your help, we have already provided over 18,000 meals to those in need.
Please consider supporting this vital project—your contribution can make a lasting difference.
